Today is the 50th birthday of Mr. Dudley J. Primeaux, the inventor of Spray Polyurea technology, the American chemist. On behalf of all the people of the China polyurea industry, we wishes Mr. Dudley J. Primeaux health, prosperity and happiness.

On the eve of the 10th PDA annual conference in Jan, 2009, Prof. Weibo Huang was invited to visit at Dudley’s home in Elgin, Texas and congratulated on his 50th birthday in advance. He presented a Chinese paint calendar of the Ox Year of 2009 to him. At Mr. Dudley’s home, Prof. Huang visited his study and hunting exhibition room, asked the recovery condition of his right hand after the air crash in Sept. 2009 in Denmark. He went sightseeing in Austin, the capital of Texas, and had lunch with his wife Karen, elder daughter Taylor and younger daughter Hunter. The next morning, Mr. Dudley and Prof. Weibo Huang set out from Austin Airport to Albuquerque, the capital of New Mexico for the 10th PDA annual conference (see www.polyurea.cn, 2009-1-30).

On June 22, 1998, Mr. Dudley J. Primeaux was invited by Prof. Huang, came to China for his maiden voyage to make presentation of polyurea (see www.polyurea.cn, 2008-6-22). After he returned to the USA, Mr. Dudley often conducted Prof. Huang’s R&D on polyure by letter, fax, phone and email. He made great contribution to China polyurea industry and became good friends of Prof. Huang’s. In 2002, nominated by Mr. Dudley, Prof. Huang was unanimously voted to be the international director of PDA at the first time and served for two terms (2002-2004, 2003-2005). At present, Prof. Huang is the 3rd time (2009-2011) to be the BOD position of PDA (see www.polyurea.cn, 2008-12-28).

On July 25, 2005, Mr. Dudley J. Primeaux was invited by Prof. Huang came to Beijing Wanhua Research Institute to attend The 1st China Spray Polyurea Elastomer Application Forum and the issue ceremony of Prof. Huang’s monograph “Spray Polyurea Elastomer Technology”. Now, Dudley plans to submit and attend The Expo in Beijing (See http://www.polyurea.cn/en/2009/news091024.htm). This will be his third time to China, the hot market of polyurea in the world. China polyurea industry is looking forward to Mr. Dudley J. Primeaux’s coming.
