2009 PDA-CHINA Working Conference was held during Dec 18 -19, 2009 in Qingdao Fuxin Hotel. It is the first working conference after PDA-CHINA established. There were nearly 180 people including presidents, general managers, general engineers, technical directors and people in charge of technique attended the conference.

On Dec 18, the conference of 2009 PDA-CHINA work report was held in the morning and the special conference of the Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway was in the afternoon. Firstly, Prof. Guangming Yu, the dean of School of Civil Engineering of Qingdao Technological University gave the welcome speech and Mr. Liangyi Wu of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association (CPCIA) gave the congratulation speech. Then, Mr. Weibo Huang, President of PDA-CHINA, professor of Qingdao Technological University made 2009 PDA-CHINA Working Report. In the report, he introduced the great influence of PDA-CHINA at home and abroad, the information of PDA –EUROPE annual conference held in Bruhl, Germany he attended, and the matter of organizing delegation to attend the 11th PDA annual conference in Orlando, FL, USA. Prof. Huang’s report focused on that from Aug 12, 2008 approved to establish by PDA-USA, PDA-CHINA developed nearly 100 members, supported the polyurea project of Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway construction, took part in the international technology communication, etc. The working report won the enthusiastic applause of all the attendees. The main theme of afternoon conference was the adhesion problems in winter application in Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway construction.

On Dec 19, 2009 morning, the attendees visited Spray Polyurea Laboratory, Structural Engineering Laboratory, Key Laboratory of Durability of Concrete Structure Engineering and Technology Research of Shandong Province, Functional Material Research Institute, Headquarter of PDA-CHINA, exposure field of polyurea on testing roof.

The two-day 2009 PDA-CHINA Working Conference was closed successfully. The conference let all the attendees really understand the functions of PDA-CHINA and the work that PDA-CHINA did for the industry. The success of the conference made the attendees believe that PDA-CHINA can shoulder the historical mission endued by the times, lead the China polyurea industry from victory to victory and fulfill the magnificent goal –“Serve China from the global perspective”!
