To further spread spray polyurea elatomer and its application technology, and to further promote the communication and cooperation of industry design department, industrial association, construction enterprise, material supply and technical service. The “2008 (Shanghai) Spray Polyurea Technique and Application Seminar” was held at CROWNE PLAZE HOTEL SHANG HAI under the auspices of BASF (China) Co., Ltd., BASF Polyurethanes Specialties (China) Co., Ltd, Albemarle (Shanghai) Co., Ltd and under the assistant of Synergy Technology Co., Ltd, Qingdao Technological University, www.polyurea.cn, GRACO USA Co., Ltd on September 5, 2008.

The major topics of this meeting were: Innovation, Application and Cooperation. General Assembly was presided by Miss Phoebe Xu, the marketing manager of BASF (China) Co., Ltd. Welcoming speech was made by Mr. King K. S. Wong, the senior manager of BASF East Asia. The speaker and themes were as follows:

All of the attendants exchanged the polyurea technical development in Domestic and Overseas and expressed that we can further expand the polyurea technique application in Chinese construction by virtue of powerful technology platform of BASF (China) Co., Ltd and Albemarle (Shanghai) Co.; Dr. Werner was interesting in learning about the Chinese character writing of “polyurea” with Dr. Huang (Fig.16).
