In order to fully arouse the initiative and mobilize all kinds of resource to the ’2009 China (Beijing) International Exhibition of both Polyurea Spray Technology and its Application, the 1st promotion meeting was held by Beijing Huanyalian Exhibition Co., Ltd. in V.I.P meeting room of Beijing World Trade Centre's Exhibition Hall on Oct 17th, 2008 ( Figure 1).

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Shen Yang of Beijing Huanyalian Exhibition Co., Ltd. ( Figure 2). The assistant secretary-general of Beijing Association for the Promotion of Urban Construction Technology, Mr. Wang Jianming made the speech of welcome. The general manager of Beijing Huanyalian Exhibition Co., Ltd., Mr. Shen Jiakun introduced the pre-application, planning, permission, preparation of the exhibition ( Figure3). Professor Weibo Huang of Qingdao Technological University talked about the experience and learning from the international professional SPUA exhibitions ( Figure 4), such as the American PDA, European PDA and so on. According to the characteristics of the Chinese SPUA industry, he brought up the following suggestion and requirement for this international conference:

1. Functional Material Research Institute of Qingdao Technological University is in charge of the contact with the international SPUA organizations, endeavors to be near to the PDA, tries their best to establish PDA-CHINA or PDA-Asia-Pacific earlier and attracts the SPUA lovers to come to China for information exchange and business opportunity.

2. Beijing Beijing Huanyalian Exhibition Co., Ltd. shoots for making this exhibition and technology interchange conference to be the beginning of the Chinese SPUA annual conference and holding it every year in the future. According to the developing level and spreading necessary of national SPUA technology, it is planned to hold the conference in Shanghai in 2010, Guangzhou in 2011, Chengdu in 2012 ……

3. Chinese SPUA enterprises should fully realize the significance and requirement of holding the international exhibition. All the materials, discs, models and substance should be in both English and Chinese. The exhibition stands of all the companies should have the staff who can communicate in English. Qingdao Technological University will provide the SPUA professional English service to this international conference.

4. Led by Beijing Architecture and Engineering Hua Chuang Co., Beijing East Yu Hong Co. and Da Yuwang Waterproofing Co. will contact and carry out the visiting to Beijing-Tianjin High-speed Railway.

5. Beijing Zhong Tong New Building Materials Co. is in charge of the matter of visiting to SPUA Olympic venues and facilities; Beijing Lianheliyuan Co. will carry out the visiting to National Grand Theatre and Chairman Mao’s Memorial Hall.

6. Call for Papers of SPUA technology interchange conference will be in the charge of Functional Material Research Institute of Qingdao Technological University and the editorial work of the collection will be in the charge of editorial department of Shanghai Coatings.

7. A delegation will be send to attend the celebrating ceremony of the10th anniversary of American Polyurea Development Association (PDA), and all the members of the delegation should deal with the passports and visas in advance.

8. Solicitation of the sponsors of the theme, brooch, badge, theme, cafe break, banquet and souvenirs.

After that, it was the time for free speaking ( Figure 5). Representatives of the meeting express their opinions on how to hold this conference successfully. Ltd., Beijing Everykey Protection Co., Beijing Dongshengfutian Co., SWD Polyurethane (Shanghai) Ltd., Shanghai Ruipeng Chemical Co., Guangzhou Supe Chemical Co. Ltd., Wuhan Changjiang Academy, Hunan Xiangjiang Paint Group, Yantai Lumeng Anti-Corrosion and Waterproofing Co., Zibo Fangzhong Chemical Co. Ltd., Yangzhou Chenhua Group, Guangzhou Techsun Chemical Sci & Tech Co., Ltd., etc, more than 30 institutions (nearly 40 people) attend this one-day meeting ( Figure 6).
